Horsin' Around

We went to the Eagle Mountain Rodeo on Memorial Day with all of my family. 

they did a really cool opening ceremony.  They had a bunch of Natoinal Guard holding a huge flag in the middle of the arena.

then an Apache helicopter flew over and then flew straight up into the sky.

They released an eagle that had been found and went through a recovery program. (sorry about the crappy picture.)

And, they had all the local leadership sign a covenant that says the community supports all the military troops.  My cute dad, being one of the stake presidents was one of them.

just a side note, see the lady standing 2 people away in the leathers?  she is a part of a group of bikers who go to military graveside services and surround the cemetary to keep all the anti-war protesters out and away from the families who just lost their loved ones who died at war.  Kinda cool huh?

I am so thankful for all the people who serve our country and sacrifice so much so that we can have the freedoms we do.  I don't think them or their families can get enough thanks for giving up so many things in order for us to have so much.

Cade is over the rodeo and while he was down there working on some stuff, me and Cash rode our horses.

Cash loves to go "fast" (just a trot because his horse is so freaking old) and he laughs so hard, he looks like he is going to fall off the side.  So cute!!

Lilly really loves the horses.  Last night, we were out cruisin in the stroller and she freaked out until we went to see the horses.  Rowdie had to come and check us out.

Cash was feeding Rowdie treats.  So cute!!
