Cash just started riding by himself lately. This is the first time with no help from me or Cade. He was so proud of himself and loved every second. He rode until it was too dark to even tell where he was going. We are so lucky to have horses that we can trust with him on their backs. When he was done, he led Boozer out to the pasture and took her bridle off (with a little help from me), put it in the trailer, and shut the door just like a grown up. It is so rewarding to see him becoming more involved in something that we love. We just went over the basics with him and then here he goes all on his own, making the horse listen to him. He does pretty good given he has to kick the fenders of the saddle to get her to go anywhere. These are the moments that I absolutely treasure!
