happy birthday to me

this year my birthday landed on labor day, which i personally love because cade always has that day off, so it works out really well.  cade, being the awesome husband he is, had the day all planned out and it was all a big surprise to me.  (I love surprises, and we each try to plan a surprise day for our birthdays!!)
when i woke up, he gave me my presents.  he had gotten me a brand new fishing pole, a tackle box completely stocked, a new fishing liscence, the sweetest tear jerker card, and he had the truck all loaded and ready to go up the canyon.  He had the coolers stocked with food, the camp stove to cook on, chairs for all of us, etc, etc, etc.  it was by far the most thought out thing and this is coming from a guy who HATES to fish.  he's a  hard core cowboy.  i love him!!  So sweet, right? 
we got the kids ready and headed up payson canyon and got camp set up at box lake.  i fished for about 3 hours and cade cooked lunch, took a nap, and watched both the kids fall in the lake about 4 thousand times.  I didn't catch a darn thing, but it didn't matter. it was just fun to hang out with cade and the kids and fish and not be hurried any where.  it was a beautiful day and we enoyed it to the fullest!! 
when we got done fishing (because my arm got tired of casting the pole a zillion times) we packed up and took the nebo loop home the nephi way....so beautiful!! 
we stopped for ice cream in nephi, mexican food at los 4 amigos, and headed home. 
it was by far the most fun day i've had in a long time.  so simple, but so fun!!
