fun day

Today was one of the best days.  Probably on my top 5.  Here's how our day went:  We spent all day outside enjoying the warm weather. (since it has been crappy weather up until now)  First, we ate breakfast out on the deck. then we saddled Cash's new pony "Beauty" (i know, the name completely sucks!  just so you know,we didn't name her.) we just got her this weekend.  She is new and a whopping 27 years old.  she is pretty much bomb proof.  in other words, the perfect kids horse.  We got her for free and pretty much got paid to take her.  that is a whole nother story i might post later.  anyways, we put a saddle on her and cash rode her around the pasture for a while then we went down the road a ways and came back.

  when we got home and put the horse away, we wormed the other 2 and Cash gave them some treats.   he thaught it was so cool that they didn't bite his fingers off.  Odd, but funny.

Then we played in the dirt pile-loading and dumping dump trucks, watered the berry plants in the garden, and lilly had herself a little snack.

We got thirsty playing so we drove down on the 4 wheeler to the fire station and got us a pepsi. 

yes, it is sad, everyone goes to the pepsi machine down at the firestation to get a drink.  i think in most towns, people have gas stations and such, but here in good old genola, we have the fire station pepsi machine.  I love small towns!!

 Cash looks so cute in his little helmet.  Grandma Sherri would be so proud! :)

ok, so this was 2 days ago, it is too cute not to post.

So, needless to say, all in all, we had the perfect day!!  And we got out first sunburns of the season.  Well, Lilly got her first sunburn ever.  But me and Cash got some color for sure. 

I love my life and am so blessed to be able to stay home with my kids and just play all day.
 Yep, pretty lucky.
